Hi there, non-Norwegians! (De som forstår æøå kan lese neste innlegg - på nørsk!)

We are getting married on July 7th 2012 in Trondheim, and here's some info about what's planned.

Friday 6th in the late afternoon/evening: "Get to know thyself and thy fellow human beings". At the fortress in Trondheim (Festningen). Details posted elsewhere.


Saturday the 7th of July: the Wedding itself.

• We're getting married at the town hall (Tinghuset, Munkegata 20) at 12:30 pm. There is very limited space indoors, so only a select few will join us there, but lots of space on the sidewalk for when we exit as a married couple, so we hope to see you there!

We'll dissapear for a photo session after this, so entertain yourselves as best you can.



At 3:30 pm there will be a blessing of the newly wedded in the Nidaros Cathedral. All are welcome. There will be music.

• After the blessing we will head for Frimurerlogen (the local chapter of the Freemasons, Kongens gate 3) for food, speeches and such. If you're invited for dinner, then make sure you're at Frimurerlogen by 5 pm.
• At 8 pm the rest of the guests (those that are invited to "kaffeselskap") will arrive at Frimurerlogen for a welcome drink, coffee, cakes and such. From that point on, additional drinks can be purchased in the bar.
• We'll be thrown out of Frimurerlogen at 2:00 am...

Sunday July 8th: Afterparty by the canal at a place called "Kafe Skuret" from around noon. Food and drinks for sale. Here too details are posted elsewhere.
